What is a workforce intelligence platform?

A workforce intelligence platform shows who works where, and how that changes over time: who joins a company, who leaves, who is promoted and where people go next. Live Data Technologies records those job changes for about 124 million professionals.

What questions can workforce data answer?

  1. Who has left the companies I cover, and where did they go?
  2. Which contacts on my list have changed jobs?
  3. Is a company adding or losing people in a function?
  4. Where do a company's people come from, and where do they go next?

What kinds of workforce data are there?

Most workforce data falls into three kinds. Job postings show what a company says it plans to hire. Headcount figures show how many people a company has. Job histories show what each person actually did: where they worked, in what role and when they moved. Live Data Technologies records job changes: who joined a company, who left, who was promoted and where people went next.

What should I check before choosing a platform?

  1. What a record holds. A record is one person and the dated events of their working life: arrived, promoted, left. Each fact should carry the date it was last checked.
  2. What “refreshed” means. It can mean a timer refresh, a triggered update or whole-record re-verification, and each catches different changes. See how fresh is the data.
  3. Coverage of your own list. Coverage is strongest where job changes are publicly documented, such as tech, finance, healthcare, media and business services. The way to know is to test your own list.
  4. Where the data comes from. Live Data Technologies data is compiled from public information on the open web.

How does the data reach my team?

Through the API, by file delivery to cloud storage, SFTP or Snowflake, in the Live Data app, or from an AI assistant through the Live Data MCP server.
